Tremelo Arm for a 1995 Strat - Pop in or Threaded

Postby vez on Mon Nov 22, 2010 7:43 pm

I just bought a 1995 American Standard Stratocaster but it didn't have the trem arm.
Does anyone know if this is a pop-in or is it threaded?

I think the standards were threaded....the Deluxe USA line of strats had the pop in arms as per my recollection. I think the standard line used hardware more vintage-like.

Good tip: spend a little more money and get a Callaham trem block and one of his arms. The blocks will add some nice sustain to your sound.....worth it IMO. Just google for Callaham guitar parts.
