So, were they (drunken) lip synching or was that a really bad editing job?

Nice looking half stack, though. Always thought Bolan played a Les Paul exclusively? Was surpised to see him wearing a Strat.

looks like an SC head with an orange cab in the hocus pocus answer question vid from the off topic lounge hocus pocus focus thread.
no lip syncing on that one, no yodelling either.

Two Zep clips, both Communication Breakdown. I think this is an Arbiter 100:

I got a good chuckle when I first saw that last Page pic with the SC/Ric set up, as that is what I have. I saw them with the Ric cabs, but no SC I was aware of (then I was sure it was marshall & vox heads, now I'm not so sure), but I saw Pink Floyd with the SC/wem setup and somehow ended splitting it down the middle.

I always thought it was a Sound City, until I found that last photo on a Zep forum. I think the photo came from Bob Rissi, the designer of the Transonic amp.

Anyway, it's clearly an Arbiter, because you can see the "rb" under Pagey's armpit :)

Here's another shot of that setup, from the Whiskey A Go-Go, Jan '69:

what is weird about pictures from that tour is that almost every show had some variation in the heads used.
OK, Arbiter it is. aren't those known as the rich mans hiwatt?

Yup! There aren't that many big names that we HH Electronics fans can claim, but he's one of them. Apparently Pink Floyd used several at one phase (Live in Pompeii - I'm not a big fan so I don't know what year that would be).

Daniel Ash of Bauhaus and Love and Rockets and J Spaceman/Jason Pierce of Spacemen 3 and Spiritualized are two HH users.
