(-: Centrifugal Funk part II :-)

Guitar gear used for the recording:
Custom Les Paul with DiMarzio SD's.
Ibanez Jem with SH-4 bridge.
1968 Marshall Major 200 watt Plexi with PPIMV and OWM.
Marshall 4x12 1960a cab with Celestion Greenbacks.

I'm kinda taking a stab at some funky fusion shred tone and laid down these recordings.
It might be a little too crazy for some but that's just me, guitar crazy. :-)

I hope some of ya can get into this style of playing' like I do.
Well, once in awhile I do.

Cheers Michael

Excellent Michael, that is some noodling. I really like the tone in the first clip with your LP. My 72 Major certainly doesn't sound like that, I'm not considering any mods. Are you hitting the front end with an OD?

Thank you for the kind comments.
No, I'm not hitting the front of the amp with any kind of boost OD.
This video I made might help explain a few things about my '68 Major.
If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask me. :)

and a sound clip with my LP Custom to hear it on it's own without backing track. :)

It does sound great Michael. My Major did have a master v mod when I acquired but had it reverted back to stock. I can get some nice tones with a tube driver in front. I do know that I need to be careful, Majors are a little temperamental, I don't need to lose the OT.
