Ibanez UE 400

Some like 'em and some don't, but I bet everyone has at least a couple — Analog Delay, Digital Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tube Overdrive, Transistor Overdrive, Fuzz, Octave Fuzz, Tremolo, Vibrato, Compressor and the list goes on!

Anybody have any points of view on this rack unit?

Yes! When these things came out they were the best thing going if you could get past the Ibanez name. I could never afford the MXR's of the day so when this came along I jumped at it. The compressor can make things a bit noisy - so take care in not overusing this effect. This is a great combination of effects that would get you rockin in a hurry if stomp boxes are your thing.
I still break out my UE 400 & 405 on occasion. BTW I have a spare UE 405 - the one with the delay, for sale. I'd need to get $175 and shipping for it. Or I can bring it with me on Friday (that's this Friday) if you wish.

I had one for a while. I liked it very much. I didn't like the overdrive that much though. It isn't BAD, but I had a bunch of TS-9's and TS-9 like pedals at the time that sounded a lot smoother to me than the OD included on the UE-400. The componentds for OD on the UE didn't look anything like any TS-9 I ever saw.
I like the compressor a lot and the flnager and chorus were very good too.
Its a great bang for the buck unit.
