Not much to say. I'm just taking a brief moment of silence.

The ability to play/make music is a gift that not everyone gets. Those of us who have it should use it.

Asimov:Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today — but the core of science fiction, its essence, the concept around which it revolves, has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all.

Hey now...I ain't saying he's God. I did enjoy what he did and how he did it. This one's death had a greater affect on me than Jimi, Janis, Jim Morrison et.al.
Maybe it is just aging and maturing process (not that many accuse me of the latter) that has made me more aware. I can't believe that so much time has past since the day I heard his song open for the news on a talk radio station. I was on a downhill slide in my marriage with two kids involved so this era is a monumental period in my life. The marriage ended and like Stevie, I sobered up. I've come to view both events as the best thing to happen to me in my life although the divorce seemed like the worse thing that could happen. :jam:
