Oddball speaker

edit: looks like a fake label. :roll: doesnt have the patent numbers text around the edge. plus its too blurry, and its not fitted the correct way up.

Notice it has the older style magnet with the little bolts instead of the flat head screws. So the magnet and chassis could well be from 1958. However the T650 model was only introduced in 1962, and it has a completely different cone (ribbed).

I had a T1095 once with that type of cone. Could be one of those.

With no cone ribs is it a guitar speaker at all?

He said it came out of a Vox. :?:

No, but it could be reconed to make a guitar speaker. I doubt the Vox thing is true, unless it came from a really early PA or something. Doesnt explain where the dodgy label came from...
