Nice XII. Much nicer condition than mine, which is also a '66

I'm a big fan of offsets- particularly Jazzmasters- I have a LPB Thin Skin, a couple of modded Squier J Mascis' (currently my favourite live guitars) and a slime green metallic Partsmaster- plus a Squier Jag, a Fender Jazz Bass and a Mandocaster.

nowadays, i (still) rock offsets pretty much exclusively. jag or jazzmaster.

here's my current fav, an über-battered '66, from the gig last weekend.

heres my main guitar since I got it up and going years ago it was a "luthier special" just neck, body and tailpiece. some one had taken a wood chisel to the bridge pick up rout and "routed" it for a humbucker so a put in a Seymour Duncan pearly gates in that spot the neck pos is out of some strat set I had alnico great fender quack even on a 24" scale. money was tight and I had to improvise some parts to get her going.
