More duff info from Marshall

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marshall-JTM-45-MK11-Plexi-1963-64-Vintage-Valve-Amp-/281435503577?#ht_70wt_1106

Clearly block end from '66 (who on earth is there at Marshall that tells people this c**p?
Presume the OT is 784-103 but no pics, should really have KT66s. Oddity is the PT which has selector on top.

Why are there photos of two different preamp boards? One is an early 64-65ish with Radiospares resistors, the other one is the Iskra board.

One of the pics shows an amp with a folded chassis, others with block ends. The boards are also different as pointed out earlier. The head cab looks like a later jtm or jmp box? The PT with the selector looks legit. I own 6025 and it's 100% original. Both the OT and PT have selectors on the trannies. Thing is although the serial numbers are close they could have been made a +/- year apart.

Perhaps is the same people at Marshall who valued the 65 dual OT 50K pounds. Oh well...
The latest one from them is that newer EL34 are more efficient than 60s design (seen in another forum).
I think next step would be to outsource amp design perhaps in India or so. After all, it seems nowadays their core business stands in the marketing dep, so better save for the rest.
