Any thoughts on this one? I thought there weren't any 10xxx S/Ns in '68???

Yes there were in 68, I have/had two with 68 dated pots and a mixture of late 67 early 68 mustards so must have been made after those.

That is right on the 67/68 transition as it has the Drake -132OT and -80PT and was shared V1 cathode as stock.

Although it has had some work done form the pics there looks clean and tidy.

It is nice. Last of the Drakes period - late '67. Some have the single dropping res and some two like this one.

It's really driving me crazy!

I am dying for a real custom color caps-under-the-chassis plexi and this one is really tickling my gear lust.

I just bought an orange superlead half stack ('74 SL head and recovered recent "vintage" 4x12) this past weekend and I'm really trying to justify "just one more purchase"

Of course, I'm also in the middle of a divorce and could very well find myself not buying anything new or fun for a while. ;)

It seems a bit pricey to me even for what it is.

Yes, I agree that the BIN price is a little spendy for it. Especially considering that it's been MV'd and re-capped.

I am wrapping my head around the idea of making a "best offer"
