Is this a Sound City Speaker?

It has been a long time since I have posted on this site but now I am coming across more amps in my role as Guitar and Amp Tech @ SMP Artizan

Now I recently picked up a Bass Cab reportedly an Orange.. but not.

Latest theory I have is that it a Sound City badged by "Plug Inn" in Liverpool.

Please look at the pics and give me your opinion.

so...you got it as a 1x15" and converted it to a 2x12"?
It has lots of similarities to a Sound City cab, but there is nothing exactly like on The Sound City Site.
There seem to have been several companies in england using the same cabinet shop at the same time.
Lots of HiWatt and early Sound City were virtually indistiguishable from each other. I would reckon there are others the same.
Sound City went to a MDF build before the change from DA to DMI. And the handles look right for the late DA/early DMI era, but there are some things which do not quite add up.
