Some bodgery has happened in this amp. I'm recapping it and tidying things, but the standby switch is all wrong, the light is disconnected, and it doesn't seem to switch the HT, since that was on when I turned on the mains. Knocked it off again, because it was wrong, before poking about much further. Gonna go over the schematic when more alert, but in the meatime can anyone figure what's going on? The yellow wire to the pre board strikes me as dodge, might be because it isn't there in the 200 mark 3 I had or the 120s that have the same style preamp.

I will pull one out of the case tomorrow and see if I can sort that for you.
There seem to be a couple of strange things in the pics.

Sorted that now, got a new light in there because that one didn't work. Something is still amiss because the output is very quiet, think that is from the preamp though. Wondering if I did something wrong when I rejigged the power filtering by the inputs, because I moved a unch of earths to the ame point instead of having them all earthing to the chassis at the nearest place to them.

Sorted and running, earthed a resistor in the pre I thought was a bleed to power down a filter cap, turns out wasn't, and it was supposed to go somewhere else. Bias it up with a proper set of valves tomorrow, and should be gigging it on Saturday.
