A Long long shot here,

Does anyone have a really good SC105 clone for sale? :?

....Or Original hahah

I'd maybe be willing to swap a 1973 Hiwatt DR103 4 input Hylight .....anyone?

As far as I know there is noone building SC105 clones at present. From what I have read today there is scant difference between a SC105 and a DR103. Why bother traiding a Ford for a Mercury?

Hey Papa Dog, thanks for the reply!

I have an SC105 "Gold Faceplate" type, I have a MG reissue CP103, and I have a 1973 DR103!!

I primarily use the MG CP103 to gig with, but it's been in with an Amp Tech as it has been a bit poorly! I have in the meantime been using my SC105, and this amp kicks ass! I forgot how good it is!!! It gives me the exact tone I require (being in a WHO tribute) With My SG Townshend Signature, through the univox Super fuzz into Fane loaded SE4123 cabs!!

I have been contemplating converting my 1973 DR103 into a Clone SC105/CP103, using as much of the original components as I can!!! However I would consider swapping my 1973 DR103 for an L100 turned into an SC105 or something similar!!!

You might think it's going backwards but believe me those SC105 amps are the best sounding amps ever and I cannot understand why more were never made or remade????
