Notched backplate for Dyna Comp

Some like 'em and some don't, but I bet everyone has at least a couple — Analog Delay, Digital Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tube Overdrive, Transistor Overdrive, Fuzz, Octave Fuzz, Tremolo, Vibrato, Compressor and the list goes on!

Notched backplate for Dyna Comp

I'm certain that somewhere I've seen blackplates for vintage Dyna Comps that were notched to accomodate a cable to the battery clip so that the early models without a power jack can be powered by a power supply, like a Pedalpower. After a pretty extensive search, I'm coming up blank. Anyone seen these and know where I can find them? Thanks, Steveokla

Had I known I wouldn't have drilled mine for an 1/8" mono old school jack way back when. :oops:

In my defense, 9v batteries were a freaking buck!! :P

I knew I'd seen one lately - here you go;

I don't believe they made them in matching colors as I've only seen them in Black...

It did seem like that, so I got it. Not sure if it'll fit the Dynacomps-you know which ones-and seller didn't have a clue. If it does, I think it's a great buy. If not, well, it's $15, and I could likely sell it off and get at least some of the $15 back.

I don't know if a dynacomp is the same size as a phase 90, but back when I had a phase 90 I made a back for it like that, using the back of a standard box that is the same size as the MXR box.
