At half that price I would grab it and find the cash somehow, at that price you need deeper pockets than I am allowed!

Looks really neat and clean with only minor servicing and running repairs as expected of an amp this age.

Odd thing is to see a broken original type logo but the front panel has clearly been drilled for a larger logo at some stage :?

at that price, I would expect GEC KT66's & old stock 12AX7's. A good friend of mine sold his 1966 Superlead with the same specs last year with all NOS glass for about the same asking price. Gotta figure the tubes were worth $1300+ But then it always comes down to, go find another one in similar (or even worse) condition for sale!

I agree on both points!

An original KT66 45/100 is what I lack but fixer uppers are more my style and suit my spending money pocket better so I will keep on waiting. Most of the UK ones for sale past few years have been PAs.

Was offerred one by a very respected Replica Marshall Builder on behalf of his friend. Was in very rough condition but with all Orig KT-66 and Mullards.
