It looks like the logo is broken where the "r" sweeps up to the "s". If I were asking 8.5K for that... I would at least super glue the thing together.

Yeah... crazy as it sounds... Pull the chassis... since the logo is already broken I think it would be pretty safe pokin' on the back of the pegs to get it started.
After extraction occurs.. piece of paper over the front panel... find the holes and mark w/ a pencil and you have a template. Put the template on a block of wood. Use a 3/8 th's drill bit to drill through the template marks into the wood. Now you have a jig. (using a 3/8 bit gives you plenty of "play" because your template might not be very precise.

I think that nicotine and beer stains are very fascinating, so smoke free studio is a minus.....
Here in Italy every Marshall before Jcm 800 production is advertised for sale as 'plexi', I'm not jokin'.....
