Some brands of pot the switch on the back is a separate part, you may have to put the switch off another pot on the 4M pot you need.

Is this for the Ultra-high switch and the treble control?

If so, that switch is actually closer in the circuit to the volume control. You could use a push-pull 1M pot for the volume and put the ultra-high capacitor right there where it occurs in the circuit. Then use the 4M in the treble position, no switch.

Or, is this the Intensity control with the switch at the beginning of the pot's rotation? If that's the case something you might try is a switched 1M pot with a 2.2M resistor soldered across its outside legs. Yes, it changes the taper of the pot but it might function for you.

Those are the only :idea:s I can come up with!

Hey AmpDan, Ive got an old Gemini and need to replace the 4M treble pot just as you had to, shaft broke out. Can you help me know how you solved this?

Thanks!

Hey guys, any luck getting your amps running? I have an Ampeg Gemini with really weak tremolo. I'm assuming that it's the intensity pot, which is an impossible to find 4 Meg with switch.
Thanks!
