Ampeg V4 Cabs

I've been looking around at the 70s V4 cabinets (4X12) and was wondering if there are any big construction/structural differences I should watch out for? Are they all the same basically from the early 70s to (Not sure when production on them ended).

I'm referring to the old straight angle ones.

Can't find too much info other than they are front loaded, have insulation, and occasionally had Altecs in them.

Thanks.

Hi, I have 2 of them, having one of the for almost 40 years. They are the toughest built cabinets, PERIOD !!! Thick interior "cross" constructed from thick wood. It has been awhile since I opened them up, but the next time I do, I will get you some dimensions and pix. :) I have literally dropped it down a stairwell one night and it was unfazed !!!
