So it appears all the Hendix recordings are 1/2 step flat on all his songs? Reason?

Sounds bigger tuned a 1/2 step down.

yeah, he always tuned to Eb. The strat being a long scale instrument and all that, makes 3 semitone bends a lot more forgiving on the fingertips.

didn't the guitarist to black sabbath play in e-flat as well?

thought i read that somewhere

tried to look it up but my router is being weird tonight and i'm lucky enough to be able to post here and watch netflix

when it gets like this sometimes it won't work again until the next day so i don't wanna try a reboot

SRV did the same. Try it with 12-56 guage strings. It has a big beautiful sound.
