im sure it's been talked about before, i never really picked this up until now, so..what did Space Ace use to get his tone( guitars/amps/effects) on this record, wich i am surprised to say is quite damn good, i wasnt much of a Kiss fan, but something made me pull this one up and check it out. im sure some Kiss/Ace fans would know...

Ace used a 3 pickup LesPaul Custom and stock Marshalls onstage.
What he used in the studio is anyones guess.
From what i have heard, due to his drinking and substance abuse during that period, Ace himself prolly doesn't know.

He used LPs through Marshalls (JMPs I think?) w/ 6550 power tubes and doubled them w/ Fender guits through small Fender amps. He used the same approach w/ last year's albums, though had gainer Marshalls (900) and occasionally used a PV 5150.
