Cheers !!

...and that's just the Marshalls

Wizards are the 'Dumbles' or Trainwrecks' of Marshalls IMO. The trannys arent' copys of Drakes or RS, that's his own design.

Can you tell us what are this amps I saw on the Wizard website?
Looks like signature amps.
Do you see the AC/DC logo on the left corner? And the Angus drawing on the right:

Image

Seems that two of them are maybe 50w and the other two maybe 100w.
Or two for Mal, and the others for Ang...

Whats Next To The Moon from Powerage.
Fantastic sound, especially when the riff in the chorus kicks in.

The song always does it for me. It's not your typical AC/DC tune but I love it. The guitars sound great, The rythm section is tight and Bon Scott is just plain genius. Great vocals and the lyrics are so funny.

I can't help myself from grinning when I hear Bon Scotts line after ,in the story his been charged with murder:
"Alright officer I confess, everything is comin back,
I didn't mean to hurt that woman of mine. It was a heartattack"

Terrible but hilarious

All in all +1 on Powerage.
Yep, I think they really nailed the tone on that album.

My vote's for Powerage too. Awesome album in so many ways.

There was a link in a thread a while back in the Orange section to a video of AC/DC playing a show in England where they were using Orange amps. Sounded great.

BTW roef, I like the music on your MySpace page.

Ok ok, they definitively left Marshall to Wizard amps (witch I guess are only clones of EARLY Marshalls... Just look at it !!!).
Where and when did you get those shots ??????
Very, Very interesting...

It's not that complicated, their amp tech Rick St.Pierre is the founder of Wizard Amps. They are inspired by but are NOT clones of Marshalls and Hiwatts. They will never be popular as they are one of the most expensive amps you could ever buy.AC/DC never stopped using Marshalls, they use Marshalls AND Wizards,it's no secret.
