A few people have asked about whether or not you can get an early VH type tone out of a 5150 combo. Here's another clip to give you an idea of what you can do with this amp hooked up to a Marshall cab. Enjoy!

It is damn good. I dig the background track thing you did with mean streets. Could you do the same with the 5150?

Your getting real close to having to pull out some Hagar!! Perhaps spme Black and Blue. :D

How 'bout "Light Up the Sky" or "Romeo Delight"? I wanna hear the solos too... and I know you can do 'em!

Dude, record some more clips the same way you did the Fools clip! Except, give us like 2 minutes or something!!!! 10 seconds isn't long enough to fully get into it!

Damn, vHoholic I conclude that the amp/cab doesn't matter at all, and your soundclips' staggering resemblance to EVH are the result of your ears brain and hands!

Once again superb!

Smokin' :)
Once again you chose the right song to showcase the tone...fantastic job.
Love your clips, keep 'em coming.
PS If you ever decide to put together another band, I've been working on my tambourine chops... ;)

Thanks for all the comments guys! :) I'll have to see what song i can wip up over here. I finally got my amp enclosure and had it set up for a few hours and had to take the whole thing down real quick. Since we set up all our Christmas stuff in our small living room(exactly where i have all my equipment)i have no room for it right now. :( That thing is a monstrousity..lol. I laughed so hard when i saw the look on my wifes face when she walked in the apartment. The thing is huge :(

Is there enough attenuation for you? Or did you just put it together to check it out? I'm really interested in hearing how it works out for you since mine is working out so well...
