My friend just got this for 150 quid. Needs a few new pre's as a couple are shot. He's got a 4x15 and a 4x10 on the way shortly too. It's going to suck practicing next to these guys haha. The other guy has a 100W klipp through a 1960 and a matamp 2x15.

JR is my favourite shop in manchester! When i was at uni there i'd hang out all saturday there annoying Danny and Paul with my shite playing   Got some great gear from that place too including my favourite guitar - a 1984 Tokai Goldstar.

News in from my friend: Needs a revalve, both pro and power. He also nearly smashed his spine to bits carrying it home haha.

He's gonna bring it around mine next week as I have whole bag full of valves to play with.

the v14 is a particularly brutal 150w monster with an overdrive boost and verb - all footswitchable - that will demolish buildings, running with everything on full it must be pushing 300w. Its like a fender with six pairs of bo!!ock$

mine is one of the ones with the "growl" control added 8)

i wouldn't mind finding one of the ones that had the inbuilt trem, the only matamp ever to have a trem i think

I thought the original Series 2000 Matamps had tremolo....

For what it's worth, my Orange Reverb Twin has a pretty nice sounding trem. It's not a Matamp in any way shape or form though.....

My friend just tried this out tonight and he's made up. I'd post his response but I dont think the swears filter would like it very much haha!

Might anyone have a schematic for 'er? And mod ideas would be great, too!

Damn! Good job! I wish I would've know about this. Where on earth are you? It would be interesting to reverse engineer one of these to figure out of it is a Matamp or something else.
