I'm in the east SF Bay, CA. From what I've learned in in the Misc British Amp forum, it's Burman-related!

Two guy's from Burman did them when Burman was on hiatus, got same blue/orange heater wiring colour scheme in the ones I had. No much by way of parts or build style in common between them really.
