I was watching it but only to gauge the value of mine which is a bit newer...but MUCH cleaner. Look familiar lol? All the 70's Matamp cabs are chipboard so despite the completest in me....I'm not actively seeking a 4X12.

My one previous owner GT100 came with matching 4-12 (blackbacks)...yes,mdf- but as long as you don't plan on travelling with it, it sounds fine to me. It's a pleasant surprise at how much these seem to be going for now. Unless of course one is looking to buy.

I just prefer Birch as it's resonant. Chipboard is not.....too dense. Makes no difference on a tight mic but a big difference if in a studio using room mics.
