Nice one. I have just today sold off my lefty Mustang Bass as a project. The body had been mercilessly hacked by a righty and, after about 5 years searching, I have given up on finding a replacement body and sold it to someone who's happy with a grungey/modified look.

Bit sad, but I had to call it a day.

Nice 'stang!

Your Fender brings back memories. My first bass was a Mustang. Long gone now.

And it's a lefty, Joe :!: I scoured for years to find a body with no success, then your pic appears to rub it in for me

Sorry about that, oz! You can try to track my Mustang down if you like, I traded it to Southpaw Guitar in '05. They may know its present whereabouts.

Thanks Joe, but I only wanted a body as I had pretty much everything else. I see righty guitar bodies regularly and bass bodies sometimes, going for very little bidding, having been stripped of all those dated parts. Never saw a lefty bass bod, sadly.

They're a 30" scale, the Mustang Bass.
