New Mojave High Gain 30 watt for Single Coil guitars

Postby plexi on Fri Nov 12, 2010 10:22 pm

We are building a super high gain 30 watt for Strat owners. If your a single coil guy, this amp will offer you the tone without that pedal, this is also a real burner for humbucker equipped guitars.

Here are 6 clips we did using Strats, Teles, P90 equipped Gibson Les Paul Jr and my Carvin with a a humbucker. Also a les Paul with humbucker on one of the clips done by Blues

I did this one over the last week.

thanks, I am a wana be slide guitarist. More like, do it by necessity. I like Beatles ( ah da) and They are a vocal band., best I can do is slide it. Still need to learn how the hell to mix better.

I tired this clip but it'a Disaster so after I show it here, I will change it.

Always loved that song, gotta give credit to Paul for the riffage, most people assume it was George...nice job Vic!

I really like the sound of this amp------- EF184/6ej7 preamp tubes(s) seem to do the trick very well----- good sound and very affordable, too.
You've done some good work with this amp.....................gldtp99

great tone!

but high gain? not by today's standards, but if your talking 1970s maybe

and howabout throwing down some uptempo zz top or aerosmith clips!?!? you seem to be traveling further back in time and slowing down the tempos with the clip selection.

sleepwalk and walrus is kinda :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy: to be demoing a high gain amp and the slide thing makes it even more lazy--like playing the entertainer at 12bpm on trombone or like playing perry como's version of "it's impossible" to demonstrate an ubershall!! :jam:

time for some life in the fast lane and wheaties for the tone guru! think more supermodel and less maude.
