Hodaka???
Yea, I remember the Super Rat!!!! Great bike!
Remember the Combat Wombat??? Yea baby!!!!!!

My favorite of all time was the Maico square-barrel 502.

The successor, and probably the all time greatest mx bike ever built was the Maico 490 Spyder.

Bultaco, DKW, Penton, Sachs, Husqvarna, Ossa, Zundapp, Can-Am are all great bikes too.

Ahh, the memories!

I'm REALLY dating myself, but remember the BSA 441cc Victor. Piston the size of half gallon fruit juice can, enough torque to plow with, & would send you into orbit if your kick stroke did'nt follow through & it backfired.

LOL another moto thread! I love it.

Hey Ljay, I hope you don't think I was after you, surely wasn't meant too.

I've had a few also Honda trial50, Hodaka, Honda(76' 125Elsinore) Suzukis and Kawasaki.
Many wipeouts and wrenching the left ankle to many times, I've finally hopped off for some recovery.

Its all in the twist of the wrist.

When I in the 6th grade living in Salt Lake City

AHH, THE MEMORIES![/QB][/QUOTE]

Wait a minnit, you made it to the 6th grade???
What was that like?

All the MIJ bikes back then were too safe. Low compression do-awl's. They would run all day and nite long, but not nearly as competitive as the stock Euro bikes. You had to "mod" them to make them move.

Oh no. Do I smell a thread about "modded" dirt bikes?
