1511 pre rola score

That elusive piece of the overall equation, so many options and so little time to test them all — Celestion, Fane, Eminence, Jensen, JbL, Utah, Ceramic, Alnico, 1x12, 2x12, 4x12, 2x10, 4x10, 1x15, 2x15, 4x15, 1x18 and I'm sure there are even more!

I just bought a silver ann straight cab on craigslist (I have three now) anyway I only bought this one cause it had an Greenback from 69 in it.I asked the seller to look for a cone code and she said there wasn't one. Bought the cab, pulled the speaker and found the 014 cone on the back. Its a T1511 from june 18 1969. I read these are Bass version with a M mgnet. What your guys opinions on this speaker compared to the regular M's and H's? Thanks Mark

I like 'em. More grunt than the lead cones. Not everyone's cup o' tea, though. You be the judge!

congrats,
I have several T1511 cabs, they are the equivalent of a typical guitar G12M greenback but for Bass applications.
I prefer those over G12M actually, slightly more compression, sweeter sounding too in the upper mids, less ice pick highs. very cool speakers.
looking back at 69 makes me realize Im not getting any younger
