Help identifying amp

Postby 55tele on Fri Mar 31, 2017 2:49 pm

I have a tube amp that I believe to be a kit that I have been unable to identify. I have owned it since 1966/67 and just recently was able to get it working after about 10 years of being in storage.

Tube Lineup is:

2-7868 output's
1-12AX7 pre-amp
1-12AU7 pre-amp
1-12AT7 pre-amp
1-5BC3 Rectifier

I have attempted to attach some pictures but I am new to this site and I can't tell if I have or not.

Most people think it was built from scratch which of course is possible. What makes me think this is a kit is the quality of the cabinet construction. I was in the furniture business for some years and this cabinet looks to be factory built.

So anyway if somebody out there can shed some light on this for me it would be greatly appreciated,

To me it is a handmade amp handmade baffle and hand made cabinet, not a Heatkit or any know brand.

The Wolverine speaker are made by Electro Voice. Are they for guitar amp use ?

Photo inside the chassis if you can.
