A 70's Quilter Model 270 Amplifier...

Postby tonewoods on Tue Nov 08, 2016 9:28 pm

Hey all...any Quilter fans here?

I picked this up awhile back, as I like the way it sounded...nice and clean...
It's a Quilter (QSC) Model 270 from the early 70's...

I have some notes from Pat Quilter here somewhere about it, and will try to run those down...

Nice Eminence Alnico speakers there. Nothing personal...but it is butt ugly from the front, isn't it? Aesthetics were not his main concern, obviously. I have never seen one of those in person.
