National Amp

Postby SometimesSteven on Fri Nov 04, 2016 9:04 pm

My wife has had this amp sitting in the basement for years. I don't know anything about guitar amps and multiple searches have been fruitless in finding any information about it.
Can anyone give some insight? Any help / information is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Well, I can state the obvious - It's a Valco made National amp, probably from the 40's or 50's. From the pics it looks like it may be a dual 6V6 amp similar to an early "volume only" Supro Supreme. You could contact Terry Dobbs. His website is http://www.valcoamp.com
He'll be able to give some info. :jam:

What a find!

Is that a field coil speaker I spy?
