Crikey, that's probably a bit more advanced than I was thinking of, but sounds interesting.

Not quite as adventurous I know, but I've ordered one of the new 15" celestion fullbacks for it. I considered changing the baffle to take a 12" speaker as I have a few spare, but realised I can play it through 12" with the extension jack. So I'll keep the amp itself with a 15", but with a better one.

Celestion fullback has arrived and is now installed in the bassmate. It sounds absolutely fantastic, I would highly recommend this speaker.

Sure it is a great speaker , original one in Traynor is very very poor and anyone is better but Celestion is a very good choice.

Best and easy mod in a amp , a good speaker.

Here's an option that was suggested. Make one of these to adapt for 12" speakers (or buy one). Easily converted back to 15"
