A Bogen GA20...

Postby tonewoods on Mon May 25, 2015 4:29 am

Just saw one of these on E$%y, and thought I'd post pics of mine here...
Wonderful amp, with a truly distinct sound...
Not many of them around from what I can tell...

Weird date codes on the Bogen speaker...
Couldn't find them on any of the EIA charts...
Anyone recognize them??

Gigged this amp the other night--what an interesting sounding amp.
The "microphone" channel is most impressive for some reason...

125 is the EIA manufacturer code for Bendix, if the "L125" is indeed the manufacturer code. I don't know if I've seen a Bendix speaker in a guitar amp before.

Maybe Bogen contracted with them to make speakers?

That's all I got...
