I don't play bass, but I sure like the sound of Jack's Versatone, and much of that sound comes from Jack's skill, but the amp does have a consistent tone across the bass guitar's pitch range. I was considering making a bid for this amp but as I don't play bass it would be selfish of me. I hope the buyer is a pro player who will use it.

This amp's transformers' EIA codes put its manufacture date at 1970. Do you think that has an effect on desirability?
