Selmer croc skin twin 30

Postby Gusfrfc on Fri Jan 22, 2016 10:09 pm

I have a Selmer croc skin twin 30. It hasn't been used since it went pop over 10 years ago and I rolled it to the back of the garage. I have recently discovered that these amps have decent value. Should I sell as is (as I don't know how much it would cost to recondition) or does it need to be all singing all dancing and good as new. Cosmetically its in decent condition, certainly better than most I've seen on line. So, has it a value as it is or only once it has been reconditioned?

Well, if it's not 100% you can always give it to me!

Seriously, it has value even as non-runner. A good tech could sort it out, probably at a cost less than the added value.

After much deliberation the amp has been serviced and I'm told in excellent order despite its age with original parts and everything working.

Great Classic Brit Amp. I have a '62 Zodiac Croc Twin Thirty packed away. Think I need to dig it out an sell it. Pretty hard to come by these days. :rawk:
