Carlsbro CS60TC ohms selector question

Postby Bassman57 on Fri Oct 23, 2015 1:53 pm

Hi all, just joined this forum and wanted a bit of advice. I have a CS60TC 2x12 combo with HH B12L speakers. I can't see the value on the speakers very well but looks like 8ohms, wired in parallel. So I guess I should be using the 3.75 ohms on the selector? There's a jack out for an extension speaker and if I wanted to use one how and what would I use? The labelling on the back of amp is missing but I've seen pictures of what should be on the chassis. Many thanks.

Use a multimeter to emasure the resistance of the speakers, round up to a nominal impedance type number. Should really check how the outputs are connected, not really safe to assume after this much time.
