Oct 1 - Limited Edition GC Marshall?

Wonder what this is going to be. The Guitar Center website shows a faint image of what looks like a small combo amp finished in white tolex in the background behind this verbiage:

"Don't miss your chance to get your hands on a piece of Marshall history. This October, Marshall will unveil a new 2010 limited edition amp, available only at Guitar Center. Only 500 will be available at Guitar Center stores, so don't wait, or they'll be gone! Check back at this site on October 1 to see it for the first time!"

I'm waiting for a Polka Dot - Buddy Guy version :laff:

Welcome to the world of marketing.... Signature Models , Limited Editions , etc etc.

Just spotted a Gibson Signature - Chad Kroeger Les Paul .... What tha  They giving them out to any wannabe these days ?
Hasn't he played PRS all his career ? Hardly an Axemeister worthy of such an honor having seen his playing style

Gibson will give anyone a signature guitar these days! They seem to release a new one every few weeks.

FYI a good discussion on the Class 5 - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=85649&p=906242

In general, EL84s have a reputation for somewhat harsh breakup in single-ended amps.

Delicately put

This does look like a hot little package, but I've already got an 18 watt and a vibro champ...
