Looks like a metal 1/4" "y" adapter to me. Think I've got one of those from way back when.

A little scary thinking they were powering 3 cabinets off that head...

No problem! x4 cabs @ 16ohms each, use the 4ohm option out. It is odd because (I thought) he used to daisy chain stacks. Pretty sure he usually had a favourite head that was the main one.
All bleeding stops.......eventually.

Well it looks like he's plugged into the stack on the right of the photo. The stack we can see might be Noel's. If it is daisy chained in that 'small' hall, wow, just wow.

Yeah, that's Noel's amp.. you can see the front and red coily cable going in the splitter..
