I had the extreme pleasure of meeting him at the 2004 LA NAMM show. What a wonderful gentleman! God bless the family at this most difficult time.

I reckon there ought to be a world jam in honour of him. If every marshall owner got them out and cranked them for two minutes respect I reckon you'd be able to hear them all over the world..

Jim was very pleasant and approachable each of the half dozen times I met him. RIP Jim.

A real legend, now gone. Tomorrow my housemate and I are having a two-man remembrance service. We're cranking up my JTM45 and playing some of those great Marshall amplifier tunes.

This is to take place in September in Honour of Marshalls 50th Anniversary.

Too bad Jim won't be there. The show at least will be a fitting Tribute to the man and those amps !
